Rock as only The Killers can! With a mixture of old, such as “Sam’s Town” and “Mr. Brightside”, with some new songs, like “Shadowplay” and “Sweet Talk”, this Las Vegas rock band was able to compile a great masterpiece. Many of these songs were recorded when their other albums (Hot Fuss and Sam’s Town) were recorded, such as “The Ballad of Michael Valentine”. “Move Away” is also found on the Spiderman 3 soundtrack. Even though they play with different genres, such as country, it has made for a great variety. If you like alternative rock, then this CD is potentially a choice for you because of the sound that is produced. The fast-paced melody of some songs will keep you alert during those of a slower pace. The balance of this CD makes it a great choice. I give this CD 3 ½ out of 5 for its dynamic sound. I would have liked to see more new songs than others, but it was nice to hear a live version of those featured songs.
