The Noble Scene is an online magazine produced by the students of Belle River District High School. In 2005, former student Brayden B. founded the magazine under another name The Avalon Rose and a number of articles were produced by a tiny group of dedicated students.
In 2006, the magazine was renamed The Noble Scene and its inaugural issue was promoted with much fanfare at a “Walk the Green Carpet” event hosted by Mrs. Brosseau’s business leadership class. In our first year, our web designers and writers put out three issues (available to view in our Archive at www.nobles.ca). Unfortunately, a fourth issue was lost a mere days before its launch. The students learned much in the face of adversity during this formative year.
In 2007, a recruitment campaign bolstered our numbers significantly. The team had high hopes of creating a fresh design for our web page to make it even more attractive for our readers.
After several agonizing months of producing a wealth of writing and few advancements in the area of web design, the teacher advisors opted for a blog format to ease our publishing woes.
We hope our readers will find our site informative, entertaining, and easy to navigate.

In September 2008, The Noble Scene will enter a new phase. Due to personal time constraints, the Noble Scene will no longer be an after-school extra-curricular club. Rather, content will derive primarily from an assortment of classes as part of of their curriculum. Students who wish to contribute to The Noble Scene who are not enrolled in these classes may contact Ms Comartin or Mrs. Jackson to be added as a contributor.
